The existing three-storey house on a steeply sloping site with dual street access was completely reconfigured & refitted inside and out to improve livability, presentation, privacy & accessibility. Maintaining the original footprint, the top level was dedicated to all living spaces with outstanding views over Balmoral & Sydney Harbour. The middle level comprised all bedrooms whilst the lower level was set up as a self-contained apartment. Externally, the roof was replaced with a low pitch, metal skillion roof rising to the north to maximise light to all living spaces and provide cross ventilation. Internally, engineered oak floors, profiled timber walls & VJ lined ceilings were installed to soften the interiors and create a relaxed and inviting environment. An internal lift was installed to connect the lower level garage to the living spaces.

The end result is a perfect example of an outstanding client, architect & builder working relationship.
