This three-level house was carved into a steeply sloping site overlooking Balmoral Beach. Using a combination of stone clad walls, off-form concrete, timber battened walls and rendered brickwork, the materials were chosen to be durable, weather naturally and add textural interest. This contemporary home evokes a sense of solidity and fluid transparency while capturing sunlight and maximising water views.
