Forsyth Street House

A marriage of tradition and modernity. This single level Californian bungalow with lovely street presence was extensively renovated whilst preserving its original characteristics and footprint. The rear section of the home was rebuilt in a modern style while the second level street front addition adopts a traditional built form, in keeping with the neighbouring homes. A magnificent timber staircase with softly curved handrail with a large skylight floods the internal spaces with natural light. Existing spaces were reorganised to create a better flow and the living room floor levels were lowered to create a seamless connection to the outdoor entertaining areas, creating a private oasis with a new pool and spa set within manicured gardens.
