Cor­ben Archi­tects is a high­ly expe­ri­enced and respect­ed archi­tec­ture and inte­ri­or design prac­tice spe­cial­is­ing in high-end sin­gle and bou­tique mul­ti-unit res­i­den­tial projects. Locat­ed in Neu­tral Bay, we are a close-knit staff of 20 who have been work­ing col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly togeth­er for 35 years cre­at­ing sophis­ti­cat­ed, prac­ti­cal, liv­able, high-qual­i­ty res­i­den­tial architecture.

Grad­u­ate / Project Design­er

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Mea­sure up and pho­to­graph exist­ing build­ings for alter­ations and additions

• Pre­pare sketch designs, ele­va­tions and 3D mod­el­ling for DA submissions

• Pre­pare con­tract doc­u­men­ta­tion draw­ings for ten­der and con­struc­tion certificates

• Attend client, con­sul­tant and coun­cil meet­ings as required

• Assist in the organ­i­sa­tion and coor­di­na­tion of con­sul­tants as required

• Assist in prepar­ing con­tracts for exe­cu­tion by clients and builders 

• Assist in the admin­is­tra­tion of con­tracts in a time­ly and co-coor­di­nat­ed man­ner and with­in the agreed fee struc­ture of each project

• Work with direc­tors and senior staff as assigned to you for projects

Skills and Experience

• 3 – 5 years post-grad­u­ate expe­ri­ence in high-end res­i­den­tial architecture

• Pro­fi­cien­cy in Archi­CAD Ver­sion 25 or lat­er preferred

• An under­stand­ing of the var­i­ous stages of a project 

• Excel­lent design and doc­u­men­ta­tion skills

• Expe­ri­ence with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Cre­ative Suite essential

• Out­stand­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion and inter­per­son­al skills.

• Expe­ri­ence in under­tak­ing detailed measure-ups
