  • Philip  Corben

    Philip Corben

    Philip graduated from UNSW in 1980 and worked with the respected firms of Cox Architects, Clarke Perry Blackmore and Architecture Oceania for ten years.  In 1990, he established Corben Architects with a principal commitment to quality residential architecture with a high level of client service. 

    Whilst Philip overviews every project in the office, he is predominantly involved in the design review and client liaison. As managing director, he is also responsible for the business management of the practice, assisted by office manager Janelle Alexander and administration manager Alison Weavers.

    Outside work, Philip shares his time with his interior stylist wife Lucy, his three daughters and two grandsons.  He also tries to find time for his loves of yoga, surfing, sailing, snow skiing and cycling and escaping to his beachside hideaway in Byron Bay.

  • Mohit Keni

    After graduating in Architecture from India in 1992, Mohit moved to Sydney to undertake his Masters degree at the University of NSW. Mohit worked at Baker Associate Architects for 4 years before joining Corben Architects in 1999.

    Mohit is a passionate architect with excellent design and documentation skills. He acts as one of the Directors in charge of the larger scale domestic residential projects in the practice. Mohit was appointed an Associate in 2000 and a Director in 2007.

    Outside of work, Mohit shares his time between the two loves of his life, his young family and sport. He is passionate about cricket and is still chasing that elusive 'ace' on the golf course.

  • Mark Clark

    Following a five year career as a solicitor, Mark moved to Architecture and graduated with Honours in 1995. He first worked for Andre Porebski and Associates for three years before joining Corben Architects in 1998.

    Mark acts as one of the Directors in charge on the larger scale domestic residential projects in the office. He has outstanding design and documentation skills and is an excellent communicator. He was appointed an Associate in 2000 and a Director in 2007.

    Mark has a strong interest in art, architecture and landscape design. Whilst enjoying city life during the week, he often escapes to his Palm Beach residence where he spends most weekends.

  • Andrew Vingilis

    Andrew commenced work in an architectural practice in 1981 and graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 1989.

    He worked for several recognised practices including Tanner Architects, Feiko Bouman Architects, Andre Porebski and Associates and Stokes, Hayes and Kanas as the design and project architect on residential projects, educational, commercial and heritage projects. He then worked in his own practice for 5 years specializing in single and multi unit residential projects before joining Corben Architects in 2007. Andrew was appointed as an Associate Director in 2011.

    Outside work, Andrew loves to travel, cook, ride his mountain bike, spend time with family and friends or catch up with mates at the footy or a round of golf.

  • Anita Kane

    Anita Kane

    Anita commenced her professional career at an early age providing drafting services for her sole practitioner father before working with Mark Hurcum Design Practice as a student architect.

    Anita graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 and joined the team at Corben Architects where she manages numerous medium sized residential projects. She has also been instrumental in establishing the Corben Architects CAD protocols. Anita was appointed an Associate in 2007.

    Outside of work, Anita shares her time between a busy family and social life, sampling many of the northern beaches culinary delights, yoga, hiking and chasing her husband up mountains in Australia’s wild and remote regions.
