Anita Kane
Associate

Anita commenced her professional career at an early age providing drafting services for her sole practitioner father before working with Mark Hurcum Design Practice as a student architect.
Anita graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 and joined the team at Corben Architects where she manages numerous medium sized residential projects. She has also been instrumental in establishing the Corben Architects CAD protocols. Anita was appointed an Associate in 2007.
Outside of work, Anita shares her time between a busy family and social life, sampling many of the northern beaches culinary delights, yoga, hiking and chasing her husband up mountains in Australia’s wild and remote regions.

Spencer Jones
Associate

Born and educated in the UK, Spencer graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester and University of North London where he completed his architectural qualifications.
Spencer worked on luxury residential architecture, commercial offices and regeneration projects in London before meeting his Australian wife and relocating to Sydney in 2005. He joined the Corben Architects team shortly after where he has worked for the last 13 years on numerous high end residential projects.
Two young boys keep him busy and weekends usually include playing or supervising soccer games and paddling the waters of Middle Harbour with Sydney Outriggers.

Adam Higginbotham
Associate
B.Des (Arch) M.Arch Grad Dip Env Law ARAIA Reg No. 9430
Graduating from the University of Sydney in 2009, Adam was the recipient of the Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Prize and the James Hartley Bibby Memorial Scholarship.
Adam worked for a number of larger scale, award winning Australian architectural practices before joining Corben Architects in 2016 to take on a senior design role. He is responsible for managing numerous residential projects and is part of the studio’s BIM management and development team.
Adam also tutors architecture and interior design students, teaches digital design skills and is a tertiary architecture mentor for the Smith Family. When not renovating his own home, Adam takes every opportunity to travel and enjoys a fit and active lifestyle.

Amy Eccles
Associate
B.Sc (Arch) (UNSW) M.Arch ARAIA Reg No:10271
Amy graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2012. Whilst studying, she participated in an overseas exchange programme giving her the opportunity to live and study in Sweden. Her studies culminated in her registration as an Architect in 2017.
Amy joined Corben Architects after graduating and has worked on a wide range of residential projects of varying scales. She particularly enjoys the process of working directly with clients to create their dream homes.
Recently married, Amy and her husband share a love of the outdoors, spending their weekends and holidays hiking, biking, skiing and surfing.
